V Australia launched its international routes in 2009. Specifically for this new long-haul service, the airline requested Harmony to create custom and innovative products for Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class. It involved all comfort items onboard: amenity kits, sleeper suits duvets, pillows, slippers, blankets etc.
Harmony organized a series of workshops to fine-tune and define what V Australia requested; this was for differentiation versus their airline competitors. Harmony presented a variety of colours; stylish, contemporary and "off the wall" designs together with a variety of local Australian and International skin care and fragrances brands to complement the kits. This resulted in a total onboard comfort offering (including branded and airline branded amenity kits, washroom products, duvets, blankets, pillows, mattress covers, sleeper suits, buy on board products and "thongs"); all of which required Harmony to coordinate the launch process and follow up.
Based on our innovative ideas and presentations, Harmony was named the preferred partner for V Australia. Our operational excellence in managing the start-up and our quality of service and products have made the difference for V Australia and resulted in numerous positive comments from its passengers.
